Research : Who Are My Target Audience?

For our music video our target audience range from the ages of 18-40 year olds. Jamie Lawson's 'Fans' range from these ages. When coming to planning the music video to Lawson's song 'Cold In Ohio' we will have to take under consideration about how the video should be to appeal to this range of target audience. The target audience is a big part of the music video because they are the people who are going to watch it.

Initial Audience Research: 
Joe is a 17 year old boy who lives in Northamptonshire. Joe's biggest passion in life is playing guitar. He has been playing guitar from a young age. How Joe started was by teaching himself how to play the guitar from having a guitar tutor and then from their he carried on teacher himself. He loves to surround himself with people who share the same excitement and passion for music, especially those who play the guitar as well. Joe creates his own music which she is inspired by artists like Jack Savoretti, Dallas Green, Jamie Lawson and other acoustic artists.


Joe attends music gigs and enjoys the vibe when he is at them. Being surrounding by people who are experiencing the same inspirational person has influenced Joe to try and make his own songs, this is because he has had the passionate hobby since he was a child and wanted to develop and move on from just a hobby to a way of inspiring others to make their own music. At his school Joe helps out in the music department as he is a creative person trying to improve his skills and ideas to become a professional singer/songwriter.
